Andreas Daum published a special edition of the German Studies Review

Andreas Daum, professor of history in our department, just published—together with Sabine Hake, University of Texas at Austin, and Brad Prager, University of Missouri—a special issue of the German Studies Review in honor of the fortieth anniversary of the German Studies Association (https://www.thegsa.org/) .  This special issue (vol. 39, no. 3, October 2016) brings together a diverse group of scholars who represent a wide range of disciplines and review the achievements of the world’s largest scholarly organization devoted to German Studies outside Germany.  They analyze the transformations of established areas of study like history and literary studies, as well as the emergence of more recent fields of inquiry, such as transnational and Holocaust studies, cultural and feminist studies.
